Q: me and my friends want to put a team together to play volleyball but we dont want it to be co-ed. we're looking for a mens league in orange county. anyone help?

er winning their conference tournament this past weekend, Ohio State traveled to State College to face Penn State in the NCAA Tournament Semifinals. Despite having to play on Penn State’s home court, the Buckeyes did not blink and won the first set 25-18. The Nittany Lions rallied in the second set, winning 26-24 to tie the match at 1 set each. The Buckeyes won set 3 25-22. Set 4 was a close battle with neither team able to take more than a two point lead. Penn State took a late 22-21 lead and the home crowd was getting into it but after an OSU timeout, the Buckeyes silenced the crowd by winning four of the last five points to win the set 25-23 and advance to the title game 3 sets to 1.

Any perception of devastation, however, was quickly dispelled by UCI's first No. 1 ranking in the American Volleyball Coaches' Assn. national preseason poll. Also, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation coaches tabbed the Anteaters to finish first in the conference that has produced 39 of the last 43 national champions.
